WATER PARK MANAGER
The City of Fremont (CA) is seeking a seasoned Water Park Manager to organize and manage the programs and activities of the City's brand new Aqua Adventure Water Park. The park is scheduled to open May 2009 and is 4 acres in size, with a projected annual attendance of over 100,000 and revenue estimate of $1.6M. Responsibilities include all aspects of start up operations, including staff recruitment, development of marketing materials and promotions, training, vendor contracts and pre-sales. Location: Orlando, FL
Requirements and Competencies
• Must be able to routinely lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPO or AFO certification once in this position.
• Must have a valid state driver's license and be willing to obtain a Florida license.
• Basic mathematical skills as well as adequate reading and writing skills.
• Must be available to work between the hours of 6am and 10pm.
Primary Responsibilities
• Must be a self-motivator with flexibility and possess good interpersonal skills and communicative abilities.
• Have good mechanical ability and knowledge of hand and power tools used in the maintenance of filters and related equipment.
• Dependable performance in terms of attendance, learning performance, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements.
• Requires competence in working with chemicals and hazardous waste materials. All safety and handling procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, must be followed without deviation.
• Must be able to perform proper water chemistry testing and understand results as it pertains to all systems.
• Perform basic filter and plumbing repairs.

Salary: $11.61 - $14.16 per hour
