Great Wolf Certified Green

Certification part of its ongoing eco-friendly efforts.

Great Wolf Resorts is set to become the nation’s first Green Seal-certified hotel operator this spring. The Madison, Wis.-based company has gone green with its Project Green Wolf, a full-scale effort that includes eco-conscious practices and marketing and educational materials for guests, created in partnership with National Geographic Society.
“To get the certification [through greenseal.org], you have to go through a pretty rigorous audit that includes on-site inspection,” said Steve Shattuck, corporate director of communications. “It was a huge commitment on the
part of everyone at Great Wolf Resorts.”
