Wave Pool Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance is key to smooth-running wave pools. Heres a recommended maintenance schedule from Michael Walsh, customer/ technical service manager at Cohoes, N.Y.-based Aquatic Development Group, which specializes in wave pools.
Pneumatic systems
Daily
Visually inspect air cylinders, solenoids and lubricant levels.
Weekly
Visually inspect system for signs of corrosion, and remove any dirt or debris.
Monthly
Check oil levels in compressors and filters.
Tighten any loose bolts or other hardware, and visually inspect the condition of all connections.
Hydraulic systems
Daily
Visually inspect hydraulic valves and cylinders.
Visually inspect air cylinders, solenoids and lubricant levels.
Weekly
Visually inspect system for signs of corrosion, and remove any dirt or debris.
Monthly
Check oil levels.
Tighten any loose bolts or other hardware, and visually inspect the condition of all connections.
