Kalahari Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
103-panel solar hot water system. Wisconsin’s largest solar hot-water system, which heats 60 percent of the hot water utilized by the resort’s laundry facility
• Entergize Energy Control Systems. (Installed in guest rooms to control energy use based on guest presence.)

Kalahari Resort, Sandusky, Ohio
Texlon transparent roof system. Allows in natural light, to help heat the waterpark
• Ozone laundry system. (Allows faster washing and drying using fewer chemicals and less energy.)
• Food waste composting system. (Installed in partnership with a local nursery.)

AquaRecycle laundry system
• Low-flow showerheads in guest rooms
• Massive fans in the waterpark to lower heating costs by pushing warm air near the ceiling to floor level
• HVAC energy management system
• Fluorescent fixtures in indoor waterpark
• LED exit signs
• Compact fluorescent bulbs throughout resorts
• Motion-sensor lights in public areas of the resort
• Low-flow dishwasher sprayheads
• Reducing oven pre-heating
• Combining underused coolers
